Fried Rice

  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 4 c. cooked rice
  • 3 T. teriyaki sauce
  • 2 T. minced fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
     
 
In skillet, saute onion in butter until tender. Stir in rice, teriyaki sauce, parsley, garlic powder, and pepper. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Add egg. Cook and stir until egg is completely set (about 3 minutes) Makes 4 servings.
