Hot Apple Punch

  • 1 gal. N.C. apple juice
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 rounded tsp. allspice
  • 2 rounded tsp. whole cloves
  • 6 in. stick cinnamon
     
 
Mix apple juice, brown sugar, salt and lemon juice. Tie spices in cloth and drop in mixture. Bring to boil and simmer about 15 minutes. Set aside to blend (may be left overnight). Heat when ready to serve and serve like hot tea. Yields approximately 28 servings.
