2 Step Pound Cake

  • 4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 lb, butter, softened
  • 3/4 c. mil
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
Place flor, sugar, butter, milk eggs and vanilla extract(in that order) in a 4-quart bowl. Beat at low speed with a heavy-duty electric mixer, 1 minute, stopping to scrape down side of bowl. Beat at medium speed 2 minutes. Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube. Bake at 350 degree for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool completely.
