Jellies

  • 3 large Oranges (Naval)
  • 2 large Lemons
  • 8 cups sugar
  • 11 cups water
     
 
Cut fruit in half. Remove seeds and slice into paper thin pieces, using all the pulp and rind. Cover with water. Let stand overnight. Boil until tender. Add sugar. Let stand overnight again. Boil until mixture thickens. Pour into hot sterile jars, and seal. Yields about 8 pints.
