Butter Rich Roll And Bread Dough

  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. bread flour
  • 1 pkg. active dry yeast
     
 
Place the milk, butter, sugar, eggs and salt into bread machine pan. Add flour, sprinkle yeast over flour. Select the dough setting on the machine. Push Start. When dough cycle has completed. Remove dough from machine onto a floured surface. Divide dough into quarters. Cut each quarter into 6 pieces. Shape each piece in a ball. Prepare a greased 9x13-inch baking pan. Place balls side by side, 4 across and making 6 rows to equal 24 rolls. For egg glaze beat together egg and water. Brush generously over rolls. Cover dough and let stand 15 to 20 minutes. Bake in a 375° oven for 20 minutes or until rolls are golden brown.
