Chili-beef Stuffing-bake

  • 1 pkg. 6 oz. stove top cornbread stuffing mix
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef cooked and drained
  • 1 can 15 oz. kidney beans
  • 1 can 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1 T. chili powder
  • 1 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1/4 c. margarine
     
 
Stir stuffing crumbs, contents of vegetable seasoning packet, 1 1/2 c. hot water and 1/4 c. margarine, just until moistened; set aside. Mix the beef, beans, tomato sauce, and chili powder. Put in a baking dish and top with the stuffing mixture. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
