Cut shortening into flour, sugar, baking powder and salt until like course crumbs. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add with buttermilk to flour mixture. Pour out on floured surface, keeping thickness the same. Cut with a biscuit cutter or glass dipped in flour. Dip into melted margarine. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. MEMO: Inexpensive shortening does fine in these. You can mix it up, bake part and save the rest in the frig for up to a week. Margarine is fine for dipping but use butter when you eat.
