Heath Bars

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. real butter
  • saltines
  • 8 oz. chocolate chips
  • chopped nuts
     
 
Grease jelly roll pan or large cookie sheet. Spread aluminum foil on pan. Grease foil. Layer pan with saltines. In a saucepan mix brown sugar and real butter; bring to a boil. Simmer 2 minutes. Pour over saltines. Bake at 350° for 5 minutes. Spread chocolate chips over the top and sprinkle with nuts. You may need to put back in oven for a few seconds after spreading on chocolate bits to help them melt. Chill. Break up and enjoy!
