Squash Casserole

  • 4 c. squash
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
  • 1 box Stove Top Stuffing for Chicken
  • 1 c. shredded cheddar or longhorn cheese
     
 
Cook and drain squash. Add soup, onion, garlic, and sour cream. Prepare Stove Top Stuffing. Melt butter. In baking dish, alternate layers of stuffing and squash, drizzling melted butter over each layer. Bake 350° for 30 minutes. Top with grated Cheddar or Longhorn cheese. Return to oven until cheese melts.
