Waffles

  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 T. baking powder
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
     
 
Lightly brush waffle grids with oil, close waffle maker and preheat. In small bowl beat egg whites until stiff, and set aside. In large bowl bet egg yolks until thick. Continue beating, adding milk and vegetable oil. Add dry ingredients, beat until smooth. Fold in beaten egg whites. Pour one cup of batter evenly on preheated grid. Close unit and bake about 5 minutes.
