Banana Bread In A Bag For Kids

  • Heavy duty freezer bag
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
     
 
Place sugar, shortening, eggs, bananas and vanilla into zip lock bag and seal. Squeeze and work bag with fingers to blend. When well mixed, add flour, baking soda and salt. Seal bag and work until blended. Empty into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Let cool, slice and serve warm.
