• 1 stick butter
• 3 Tbls. water
• 1 c. brown sugar
• 3 Tbls. flour
• 1 egg yolk
• 1 pt. milk
• 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts, crushed (optional)
• 5 bananas, sliced

In a sauce pan, mix butter, water and sugar and bring to a boil. Mix, flour, egg yolk and milk to a thin batter and add to the sugar mixture. Cook stirring constantly until it thickens. Cool. Put alternate layers of pudding, peanuts and bananas in a 2 qt. dish or bowl. Can be used as a salad or dessert. Note: This recipe got my son through college. When he came home this was his first request for me to sent back with him.
