Favorite Recipe
Root Beer Rye Bread
By: Amy, Luke, and Grace Henderson - 1 1/4 c. warmed root beer
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 3/4 c. rye flour
- 1T. caraway seed
- 3 T. molasses
- 1/2 T. salt
- 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 c. bread flour
- 2 T. olive oil
Mix root beer and yeast first and then add the additional ingredients. Bake at 375° for 40 minutes. Makes one loaf. |
